Wire sizes and combinations

The Clamp-Fast^™ screw accommodates a wide range of wire sizes and combinations, allowing you to use one terminal for wire of different sizes. This feature often permits reducing the number of terminals needed or eliminates the need to use all the same wiring.

Since one Clamp-Fast^™ can do the job of two or more conventional terminal screws, it cuts down assembly time.

The Clamp-Fast^™ screw makes for fumble-free wire insertion. While the screw turns freely in the clamping plate, the plate is always held directly beneath the head allowing wires to be inserted easily.

The Clamp-Fast^™ screw's design has a slip-proof and cut-proof surface. Total area serration assure positive holding regardless of how the wire is positioned under the clamping plate. Serrations provide greater contact and pull out resistance. Edges are flattened to avoid cutting or damaging fine stands of wire.

Competitive screw products typically use a holding method of force concentrated on one or two lugs, increasing the possibility of pull out failures and cutting of stranded wires when compared to the Clamp-Fast^™ design of 360 degree uniform pressure.
